Privacy policy
The BikeGminaSanok app respects your privacy. Below we explain what personal data we process, for what purpose, and what rights you have.
Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Gmina Sanok (Urząd Gminy Sanok), address: [full postal address — to be filled in]. Data-protection contact: rowelove@gminasanok.pl.
Data we collect
Data provided when booking a bike (voluntarily): name, email address and phone number — required to handle the booking. Device location: the app uses location (expo-location) only to show your position on the map. This data is processed in the app and is NOT transmitted to or stored on our servers. Camera: used only to scan QR codes within the app; photos and recordings are not stored or transmitted.
Purposes and legal basis
We process booking data to fulfil your bike reservation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract). We do not process data for marketing, profiling or automated decision-making.
Ads and tracking
The app does NOT include analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. We work with no ad networks or third parties tracking your activity.
Data recipients
Your booking data is sent only to our backend system to handle the booking. We do not sell or share data with third parties, except where required by law.
Retention period
We keep booking data for as long as necessary to handle the booking and for the period required by law.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your data, and to object. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
